Vivian E. Clark, M.D.
Dr. Vivian Clark is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her A.B. degree in Biology, magna cum laude, at Harvard University in 1976. She completed her medical degree, cum laude, from Boston University School of Medicine in 1981, and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She went on to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology internship and residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in 1985. She was in private practice in Maine from 1985-1986 before joining Chapel Hill Obstetrics and Gynecology later in 1986. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified by the American board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is especially interested in the management of heavy menstrual bleeding in patients from age 11 to menopause, using both medical and surgical approaches including conservative alternatives to hysterectomy as well as minimally invasive surgery. Other special interests include managing all aspects of menopause as well as abnormal pap smears. Office Location(s):
