Pat R.. Chappell, M.D.

Born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Dr. Chappell received her B.S. in Biology from Davidson College in 1978. She went on to complete her medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 1983. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was at the University of Virginia, and was completed in 1987. She was a consulting physician at the University of Virginia from 1987-1988, before entering private practice in Charlottesville, Virginia from 1988-1989. She joined Chapel Hill Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1989.
