Anne Martinelli, MD

“I was drawn to medicine for the same reason many of us are – I wanted to help people. Specifically, I want to empower women to make educated decisions regarding their bodies and their health. My motivation is to provide a woman with information and support so that she can choose what the best path is for her at any point in her life.”

Originally from Oconomowoc, WI, Dr. Martinelli is a board-certified physician whose focus on obstetrics and gynecology enables her to care for women at many stages of their lives.  A graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin, she completed her residency at the Case Western Reserve program at MetroHealth and The Cleveland Clinic.

Since 2009, she has taken volunteer medical trips to Central America to perform gynecologic surgery.

“The group I work with is a second family to me,” she said. “I also try to be involved locally with groups that address homelessness, sex trafficking and food disparities.  I am inspired by the resilience of the human spirit.”

When she’s not helping patients, she enjoys running, knitting and gardening. She confesses that she’s a great dancer but a terrible cook. She and her husband, Greg, have been married since 2006.  She has one dog, Stosh, who has kept her garden rabbit-free for 12 years.
